Karl Lagerfeld hearts Indie chicks

Rumors in the Fashion world have been saying that Karl Lagerfeld has a thing for Indie chicks. First,Cat Power a.k.a Chan Marshall was said to be the future face of Chanel's jewelry line.No word on how true that is but Karl ran into Chan waiting outside a hotel,according to NME.COM,and loved the way she looked smoking. Some say that if this is true Chan will considered a "Sell-out" to her Indie-snob fans.Who cares if she is selling-out Karl is a cool cat if he thinks Chan could rock the Fashion world.I think it is cool because Chan is sexy in a odd and mysterious way.I say,go for it Chan!Now,on to the Lily Allen rumor.Lily Allen the quote-unquote "Queen Of Chav-Couture" also has caught the Fashion-eye of Karl.She was inspiration for Chanel's line,so the gossip hounds say.Lily has flown to Paris to meet with Karl,according to a unknown sources.No word from Lily's manager has been said to weather all this is true.If all this is true does that mean by 2007 Chav-couture and Indie-folk-chic will be all over your local Foever 21 stores?Yon can never say never.

Factory Girl: Lou Reed hates it!

He described the screenplay as one of the most "foul things" he had ever read from any "illiterate retard". I knew that this movie was not going to be that great when I heard that Hayden Christensen playing a Bob Dylan-like character, which makes me laugh! I was reading the IMDB forums that Hayden was originally going to play Bob Dylan but that Bob said he would sue The Weinstein brothers if they used his name so then they decided to make up a character made-of 3 different musicians. Umm, what the fuck? Some how some movie reviewers have seen the movie (I am not sure where, I am going to guess somewhere like the Venice Film Festival or a private screening). As much as I think Sienna Miller is hot stuff (Mind you, I have a small girly crush on her) I do not think she will help make the movie any better. Gwen Stefani was also going to part of the movie (rumors) playing the part of Richie Berlin but due to the fact that during filming she was pregnant she was replaced by Mena Suvari. In addition, at one point, Gavin Rossdale was rumored to be cast as Gerard Malanga, but that was only a rumor too.Thank goodness they did not end up being part of this project because people would hating on Gwen(I hate it when they pick on her!). As for Mary Kate Olsen's part in the movie, she is also playing a made-up character. People that had seen this movie also said the film implies that Andy Warhol and Edie had almost a romantic connection/love for each other, which is so far from the truth. Andy just really wanted to be the person Edie was. He was not in love with Edie he just admired her in a way. The film itself sounds horribly made and has bad casting. Such a big disappointment of a film. I just know from what I read about it so far that they are going to make Edie seem like Paris Hilton.
